Massachusetts has a goal of getting 300,000 electric vehicles on the road by 2025. But with only 6,500 currently in the state, we still have a long way to go.
Massachusetts already offers consumer rebated to make EVs more affordable, as well as grants for municipalities, local businesses, and universities to install charging stations. We need to make sure that these incentives will last and that we're doing everything possible -- including stronger utility programs, building codes, carpool lane access and more -- to put EVs in the fast-lane and drive down carbon pollution. With forward-looking policies, more Massachusetts drivers will make the switch to EVs. It'll be a win-win for our climate and our health.
Governor Baker needs to hear from you -- take action today to help Massachusetts supercharge the transition from gas guzzlers to electric vehicles!
